From Columnist Emily Smith:
“Karl Rove stunned a conference when he suggested Hillary Clinton may have brain damage.
Onstage with Robert Gibbs and CBS correspondent and “Spies Against Armageddon” co-author Dan Raviv, Rove said Republicans should keep the Benghazi issue alive.
He said if Clinton runs for president, voters must be told what happened when she suffered a fall in December 2012.
The official diagnosis was a blood clot. Rove told the conference near LA Thursday, “Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”
Rove repeated the claim a number of times to the audience. Clinton’s rep said, “Please assure Dr. Rove she’s 100 percent.”
Despite Rove’s claims, then-Secretary of State Clinton was discharged from New York Presbyterian Hospital after spending three days undergoing treatment for a potentially life-threatening blood clot.
She was seen walking out of the Manhattan hospital for another series of tests but returned to the hospital shortly thereafter. She needed more tests related to her condition, the AP reported, citing unnamed officials.
just to be clear… Here’s what Mr. Rove said: “Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”
Mr. Rove is a paid hack for Fox News.
Fox news is aligned with all things Republican and surely this latest broadside on the Democrats is there to provide their viewers with ammunition feeding their own frenzy about why the US Democratic Party is bad for Murica’.
Note that Rove says Hillary spent thirty days in rehab.
AP says three days with follow-ups.
It does not matter what the truth may or may not be.
The Republicans have the vast resources of a television network which is at its very foundation dedicated to the overthrow of the Democratic Party.
That would be Fox News.
Their penchant for telling a lie?
And then repeating the lie ad nauseum, ad infinitum?
It’s all done for a reason.
One: They don’t care about the truth.
Two: They have an agenda.
Three: They have a very simple plan. And they stick to it.
Four: That plan is to tell a lie. Repeat the lie. And let it lie.
Just think that Fox News viewers – a great percentage of them – think that the sitting president was not born in the USA.
That he is a Muslim.
That he is a socialist.
This is not a marginalized section of Fox viewers. It’s a majority.
When you consider that this can happen in the information age?
But more than that.
It speaks to a great big hole in the news business.
Journalists need to speak out against Rupert Murdoch on a daily basis.
A rejoinder at the bottom of every column in every news outlet in the world should be mandated.
Fox News is not a news organization but the official propaganda wing of the Republican Party. We urge readers to boycott Fox News.
