Air Canada passengers to receive up to $800 if they get bumped

The new rules coming into effect in September require that passengers be compensated $200, $400 or $800 per passenger depending on whether the delay is less than two hours, between two and six hours, or more than six hours.Air Canada will have to compensate bumped passengers in cash for as much as $800, depending on the length of the delay, under new rules set by the Canadian Transportation Agency.
