At midnight, officers of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a vehicle on Highway #35, just south of the Village of Minden.

During the traffic stop, officers determined that that driver of the vehicle had been consuming alcohol.

Robert RANDLES, 28 years of Ancaster, Ontario, has been charged with Impaired Driving, Drive Over 80mgs, and Drive Motor Vehicle with an Open Container of Liquor.

The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden, on Wednesday, July 4 to deal with these charges.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
