Man Taken to Minden Hospital

(HALIBURTON) – Officers of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating why a man had to be pulled from the water of Soyer’s Lake.

The OPP, Dysart Et Al Fire Department, and Haliburton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a call on Monday May 14th, at approximately 1:00pm, to the Poverty Bay area of Soyer’s Lake.  That’s where they found a man and pulled him from the water.

The swimmer was transported to Minden Hospital. His condition is unknown.
