And we're still waiting for the really big bust... up here in the true north. What the OPP needs - and I'm just guessing here - is a black lab and some snazzy hats. The hats. And the labs. Oh yes folks… it’s planting season and we don’t mean tomatoes

OPP release – Bancroft – May 8 -2012On May 8, officers of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Community Drug Action Team and Bancroft OPP, executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on Station Street in the Town of Bancroft.  Approximately $1500 in marihuana and other drug related property was seized.

Ken BARAGAR, a 45 year old male of the Bancroft area has been arrested and charged with Production of marijuana and possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking.  BARAGAR was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Bancroft court on the 19th of June.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
