Police found a Scarborough woman and her eight-year-old son after issuing an amber alert Saturday evening.

Police said Jessica Low-Zheng, 45, was last seen April 13, when she left the family home with son, Joshua Low.

Officers said they became concerned after Low-Zheng failed to show up or call home one week later.

“The service received information which caused them to be concerned for his safety while in her care,” police said in a release Saturday evening/ TORONTO SUN

The Toronto Police Service issued a release late Saturday evening cancelling the Amber Alert that Ontario Provincial Police issued several hours earlier.

The release said only that Joshua Low, 8 and his mother Jessica Yi Qing Low-Zhen, 45 had been located and that both were safe. THE RECORD.CA
