A snitch in time – and some dropped dimes

“Upon arrival of the officers, they determined that the driver of the vehicle had been consuming alcohol, and had been in some sort of collision,” wrote CST Sandy Adams in a press release. There were no injuries.

The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden on July 4, to deal with these charges.
Citizens flag OPP down
Concerned citizens flagged down an officer of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), in Minden on April 11 at approximately 3:15 pm. The citizens reported a driver who they thought was impaired.
The officer was able to intercept the vehicle on Bobcaygeon Road in Minden. At that time, the officer determined that the driver of the vehicle had been consuming alcohol.
Karla Cox, 62 years of Algonquin Highlands has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Over 80 mgs.
The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Mindenon Wednesday June 6.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
