Coppers charged two copper thieves with after copper went missing from Industrial Park Road in Haliburton.

Haliburton Highlands OPP responded to a call on March 25 at approximately 4:30 pm and they arrested a man on the scene.

The coppers charged Andrian Gnit, 49, of Haliburton, with copper theft over $5,00. They charged Stephen Dow, 46, of Haliburton with four counts of theft not exceeding $5,000 and one count of theft exceeding $5,000.

The accused are set to appear in court on May 2 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden.
