One person hospitalized – no names released

(HALIBURTON, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haliburton Highlands Detachment are still investigating a motor vehicle collision which occurred Friday afternoon on Haliburton County Road #14, south of Eagle Lake. OPP rerouted traffic for a time and closed Haliburton County Road#14, from Eagle Lake, south to Highway #118. The accident happened happened in the later afternoon and the road was closed to allow the OPP to investigate.

A report issued from Dysart et al fire and rescue said that the driver and a passenger were both rushed to hospital.

Dysart et al Fire and Rescue, paramedics and OPP all responded to the scene.
