OPP PULL OVER VEHICLE – DRIVER ARRESTED

Alderville Man Charged with Impaired Driving

(HALIBURTON, ON) –Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haliburton Highlands Detachment pulled over a vehicle on Wonderland Road, in Haliburton on August 13th, 2011 at approximately3:20 am.

OPP nab another DUI. Driving while disqualified.

 During their investigation, officers determined that the driver of the vehicle had been consuming alcohol.

 Derek Van SLYKE, 27 years of Alderville, Ontario, has been charged with Impaired Driving, Drive Over 80 mgs, and Drive Disqualified.  Mr Van SLYKE is to appear in Minden court on October 5th, 2011 to deal with the charges.
