Accident being investigated. Fatality near Red Hawk.

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haliburton Highlands Detachment continue to investigate a fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred on July 2nd, 2011 at approximately 4:50pm.

The single vehicle collision occurred on Little Hawk Lake Road in Algonquin Highlands.

As a result of the collision, one man is dead and one man has been treated for non life threatening issues.

The deceased has been identified at Adam RICHARDS, 27 years from Brampton, Ontario.

Little Hawk Lake Road was closed east of the bridge at Braeloch Road, for a period of time late into evening of July 2nd, 2011.  The road has since been re-opened.
