The kids didn’t notice but the weather had the volunteers and parents rather grumbly last Saturday.

That’ll teach ’em to put away their winter clothes early.

The elementary school athletes from the hardy Highlands are of course used to running in the cold and the rain so about 200 athletes took it all in stride -hah! – last Saturday at the Brohman Athletic Field Track complex.

Parents lucky enough to hang around for the duration witnessed some very fine performances.
